About B. Pharm
- Pharmacy is one of the most highly trusted health professions. Pharmacists are consistently in demand, even in times of economic downturns, political reform and natural disasters, so there is a relatively high level of job security that comes with a career in pharmacy. Pharmacy is an exciting career choice because of a need for pharmacists in a wide variety of work settings: community pharmacies, hospitals, long-term care facilities, the pharmaceutical industry, and government agencies.
- Pharmacy course is a blend of science, health care, computer technology, business, biostastics and patient counseling which leads to development of new medicines and betterment of human health. The students interested in the health care sector can choose this course after the completion of class 12th (PCM/B).
- School of Pharmacy Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University Pune was earlier MAEER’S Maharashtra Institute of Pharmacy, which was established in the year 1997 to cater the need of experienced pharmacist globally. The B .Pharm Course at School of Pharmacy is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and is accredited by National board of Accreditation. The School is consistently maintaining its rank amongst top 75 colleges in the country providing Pharmacy education in the NIRF ranking. School of Pharmacy is known for its academic excellence, co-curricular as well as extracurricular achievements and provides excellent infra-structural facilities such as state of the art building, laboratories, computer laboratory, machine room, museum, a theater for students performances, students clubs and cultural groups.
- You Should know – The School has received a research grant of about Rs. 3 crores from various funding agencies including the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate passed/appearing HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects: Mathematics or Biology, and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2021 and/ or NEET 2021 and should obtain valid non zero score in MHT-CET 2021 and/ or NEET 2021 OR Candidate passed/ appearing Diploma in Pharmacy and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
Selection Criteria
- Inter-Se-Merit based on the score in MHT-CET 2022 OR Inter-Se-Merit based on the score in NEET 2022 for seeking admission in All India Quota OR Pera CET 2022 Score
