About Diploma in Photography
- Since its invention, photography has transformed the way that people see themselves and the way we communicate. Whether you want to be a journalist, work in creative advertising or practice as a fine artist, this program will help you achieve your goals. In the diploma program, you will be introduced to the craft, fundamentals, philosophy, and ethics of photography.
- As a diploma student, you get to do a study tour where you explore your photography skills in a new place away from the comfort of the college campus. The destinations that we choose for study tours provide abundant opportunities to capture street life, architecture, portraits, landscapes, murals, wildlife and much more.

Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum educational qualification – 10th passed with 50% & English as compulsory
- Medium of instruction for the course and examination is English. Thus students must possess enough Knowledge of the language.
- Any DSLR camera with basic kit lens is mandatory. Apart from that,students may buy equipment according to their needs and wish.
- Despite being part-time, the course is rigorous and extremely demanding at times. Students must be prepared to be able to cope with the strict submission deadlines and work assigned to them.
Selection Criteria
- Inter-se-merit based on score in MIT-WPU UGPET 2022 and PI
- Step 1) MIT-WPU UGPET General 2022 – Online proctored entrance exam – 100 marks and
- Step 2) Personal Interview – 50 marks
