About B. Sc. Financial Mathematics
- B. Sc. Financial Mathematics is a blend of three core streams viz. applicable mathematics, statistics, and principles of economics along with hands-on training of modern softwares and programming languages required for their implementation. It will enable the graduates to acquire a working knowledge of mathematical modeling and procedures and modern financial mathematics as it is applied in different financial institutes. Graduates will acquire the skills to solve problems in areas such as, business, economics, finance, and biotechnology. The program will enrich, harness young graduates, empower them with intelligent learning to make them industry ready, at the same time make them responsible towards society and environment. B. Sc. Financial Mathematics course will be a three years full time degree program with additional one year for the Honors degree. The course is based on trimester pattern and choice-based credit system. In addition to a core curriculum, this program allows students to take elective courses in areas / streams that are of interest to them. The fourth year in the Honors course will be entirely dedicated to internship and research project.

Eligibility Criteria
- HSC (Science) (10+2) or its equivalent examination with Mathematics and English as passing subjects with minimum 55%
- 3 years Diploma Course after S.S.C. from Board of Technical Education or its equivalent with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.
- 50% marks in aggregate for reserved /PH category with any one of the above
