About Bachelor of Arts – Honours
MIT WPU’s BA (Hons) is a three years bachelor’s degree program where the aim of the program is to help students become highly skilled, versatile, independent thinkers with the research experience, information literacy, communication and interpersonal skills necessary for an advanced professional career or further academic study at the Master’s or PhD level. Students get access to a well-equipped library with e-learning facilities, conduct interactive seminars with prominent leaders from the relevant field, schedule counseling sessions and get industry relevant education. Students can choose from English, Political Science and Psychology for their area of specialization. The program helps in developing and enhancing students’ abilities to communicate clearly and critically analyze ideas, theories and concepts. By the end of the program, students learn how to reach their own conclusions and express them logically.
About BA Hons (Public Administration)
- BA Hons (Public Administration) or (BPA) is a unique 3- years degree program designed keeping in mind the needs of dynamic administration. The program is a bridge between public and private administrative needs, which uniquely prepared students for leadership positions in the implementation of government policy that serves the expectations of a wide population, carrying policy activity and decisions into action and developing public programs for the well-being of the society and citizens.
- During this program, students are acquainted with the details of public administration, personality development & upskilling on technological knowledge in administration. The program uniquely positions students to analyze the nature and the causes of social problems, to understand the interests and values of various stakeholders, design solutions to and work for its implementation.
- It’s a highly bespoke program, trained and delivered by eminent pra-cademicians (i.e., Practitioner – Academicians), who will employ their experiential learning of administration to add value to our students. They include eminent academicians & moderators, current & former public servants, corporate leaders & administrators, industrial policy experts as well as members of the political fraternity.
- BPA program offers a blend of interactive learning methods with classroom teaching, thereby introducing conceptual clarity and fostering debates as well as critical thinking to enable the students propel themselves towards a glorious career in public life.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Maharashtra State (MS) Candidature
- Candidate should be an Indian National.
- 50% in 10+2 / 12th / HSC Examination with English subject (OR)
- 50% in Three Years Diploma Recognized by Government Competent Authority (OR)
Passed its equivalent examination with 50% Marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only)
2. Other Than Maharashtra (OMS) Candidature
- Candidate should be an Indian Nationality.
- 50% in 10+2 / 12th / HSC Examination with English subject (OR)
- 50% in Three Years Engineering Diploma Recognized by Government Competent Authority (OR) Passed its equivalent examination with 50% Marks in aggregate.
3. Foreign Nation / NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries
- 50% in 10+2 / 12th / HSC Examination with English subject with 50% marks in aggregate (OR) its equivalent examination in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate.
