About B. Pharm Direct 2nd Year
- B. Pharm Direct Second Year program is meant for students who have done diploma in the field of Pharmacy and wish to take their knowledge to a whole new level by getting education which is deeply informed by science and technology, and is based on hands-on research, real-world problem solving, and “learning by doing” methodology. With MIT-WPU BPharm Direct Second Year program, you will learn many things, starting from the fact that how different types of drugs affect the human body and mind and how they interact when mixed together.
- The curriculum is updated on a regular basis as per the guidelines of Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). In MIT-WPU’s BPharm program, students learn about the fundamentals of pharmaceutical sciences while gaining knowledge from related fields, such as Medicine, Chemistry, Biology, and even Ethics.
- You Should know – The School has received a research grant of about Rs 3 crores from various funding agencies including the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).

Eligibility Criteria
- B. Pharm lateral entry (to third semester): A person who has passed D.Pharm course (45% for open category & 40% for reservation category and persons with disability) from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. Selection will be on the basis of marks scored at the final year of Diploma in Pharmacy through one to one counseling round at MIT-WPU Kothrud Campus in Month of July 2021. Reservations as per norms laid down by the Government of Maharashtra for year 2021-22.
