MGM Institute of Health Sciences, Navi Mumbai invites applications for admissions to PhD Programme for the academic year 2016- 17.

PhD Programme is conducted by MGM Institute of Health Sciences, Navi Mumbai.

Courses Offered:

1. Medical Anatomy
2. Medical Physiology
3. Medical Biochemistry
4. Medical Microbiology
5. Medical Pharmacology
6. Medical Biotechnology
7. Medical Genetics
8. Nursing
9. Physiotherapy

Duration:

2 years for Candidates who possess MD/MS degree.
3 years for Candidates who possess MSc (Medical Subjects)/ PG Medical Diploma.

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
- For Discipline No. 1 - 7: M.Sc in respective subject or equivalent qualification* with min. 55% or B+ grade.
- For Discipline No. 8 & 9 : Master’s Degree in respective subjects or equivalent qualification with min. 55% or B+ grade

a) Attested copies of the Statement of Marks of Master’s Degree

b) Demand Draft of Rs. 3,000/- drawn in favour of MGM Institute of Health Sciences payable at Navi Mumbai, towards the cost of application form and Entrance Test.

Applicaion fee is 3000/- only

Question Papers

Following is the Pattern of Ph.D. Entrance Examination to be held on 10.07.2016
The examination will consist of Paper I and Paper II

Paper I – Research Aptitude Test Total Marks : 50
a) Research Methodology : 30 Marks (6 questions of 5 Marks each)
b) English Language Competency : 10 Marks (5 questions of 2 Marks each)
c) Basic Computer Knowledge : 10 Marks (5 questions of 2 Marks each)
Time allotted -1 hour 30 Minutes

Part II – Subject Specific Test Total Marks : 50
(Subject of PG Qualification)
- Multiple Choice Questions : 10 Marks (10 questions of 1 mark each)
- Theoretical Descriptive Question : 40 Marks (8 questions of 5 marks each)

Time allotted – 1 hour 30 minutes

No negative marking
