Manipal University, Manipal invites applications for admissions to Allied Health Sciences (PG) for the academic year 2016.

Allied Health Sciences (PG) admission is conducted by Manipal University, Manipal.

Courses Offered:

=> Masters in Physiotherapy (MPT)
=> Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT)
=> Master of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (MASLP)
=> Master of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (MSc MLT)
=> MSc in Nuclear Medicine Technology
=> M.Sc Nuclear Medicine Technology (Lateral Entry)
=> Master of Optometry (MOptom)
=> Masters in Respiratory Therapy (MSc RT)
=> MSc in Hospital and Health Information Administration (MSc HHIA)
=> Master of Science in Medical Radiation Physics (MSc MRP)
=> MSc in Cardiac Cath & Intervention Technology (MSc CCIT)
=> M.Sc. Clinical Psychology
=> MPhil Clinical Psychology

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

1. Masters in Physiotherapy (MPT)
=> Pass in BPT from a recognized University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

2. Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT)
=> Pass in BOT/BSc OT/BOTh from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

3. Master of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (MASLP)
=> Pass in BSLH/BASLP for those seeking admission to MASLP course from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks.

4. Master of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (MSc MLT)
=> Indian Nationals can apply under the General Category. Foreign nationals or Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/NRI Category
=> The candidates must have passed BSc MLT/BMLT from a recognised University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate

5. MSc in Nuclear Medicine Technology
=> Post-graduate Diploma holders in Nuclear Medicine Technology (DNMT/DMRIT) approved by Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, Mumbai subject to the condition that the degree will be awarded only when they attend and pass the following three additional papers along with the second year theory papers:
1) Mathematics in Nuclear Medicine
2) Computers in Nuclear Medicine
3) Biomedical Engineering.

6. M.Sc Nuclear Medicine Technology (Lateral Entry)
=> Candidates are admitted directly to the second year. Post-graduate Diploma holders in Nuclear Medicine Technology (DNMT/DMRIT) approved by Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, Mumbai subject to the condition that the degree will be awarded only when they attend and pass the following three additional papers along with the second year theory papers:
1) Mathematics in Nuclear Medicine
2) Computers in Nuclear Medicine
3) Biomedical Engineering.

7. Master of Optometry (MOptom)
=> Indian Nationals can apply under the General Category. Foreign nationals or Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/NRI Category.
=> Pass in BSc RT from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

8. Masters in Respiratory Therapy (MSc RT)
=> Indian Nationals can apply under the General Category. Foreign nationals or Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/NRI Category.
=> Pass in BSc RT from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

9. MSc in Hospital and Health Information Administration (MSc HHIA)
=> The candidates must have passed any Bachelor's degree from a recognised University with a minimum of 50% marks.
=> GENERAL CATEGORY: The Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained at the qualifying examination and there is no entrance test.
=> FOREIGN/NRI CATEGORY: Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained at the qualifying examination.

10. Master of Science in Medical Radiation Physics (MSc MRP)
=> Candidates must have passed BSc Graduates with Physics as major or BSc with Physics as one of the major subjects from any University recognised by UGC in English medium. Candidates must have obtained not less than 60% marks in aggregate.

11. MSc in Cardiac Cath & Intervention Technology (MSc CCIT)
=> Pass in BSc Cardiac Care/Cardiovascular Technology OR Diploma in Cardiovascular Technology with minimum of 3 year's experience for those seeking admission to MSc Cardiac Cath & Intervention Technology

12. M.Sc. Clinical Psychology
=> Candidates who have obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or equivalent, with a minimum 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade point average. OR
=> Students who have completed Bachelor's degree with Psychology as a core subject (completed minimum 60 hours or equivalent).

13. MPhil Clinical Psychology
=> The candidates must have passed full-time MA Psychology or MSc Psychology from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in the master degree course as a whole.
