Established in 1990, it is now among the best private medical colleges in the country. It also has the intake capacity of 200 students annually which is the highest among the private medical colleges in Maharashtra. Since its inception, it has grown by leaps and bounds thereby earning fame and recognition. The Management has also invested heavily in the infrastructure and manpower so as to ensure that it conforms to all the guidelines of the regulatory bodies. This Institute has been expanding continuously in terms of educational programmes, research, infrastructure which resulted into it being accorded the status of a Deemed University which is another feather in its cap. Another achievement of this Institute is that it is the only Medical College in India to have been selected for setting up of a Centre of Excellence in Interventional Radiology by the Technology Information Forecasting & Assessment Council (TIFAC) of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. It has recently been notified by the Medical Council of India as one of the 8 Regional Centers for National Faculty Development Programme.
