Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering
The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering came into existence in 1999 by the approval of AICTE with initial intake of 30 students. The department offered full-time 4-year B.Tech and now diploma polytechnic (3 years) Course. Since its inception, the department has progressed rapidly and is now regarded as one of the premiere departments of the Institute, excellent with infrastructure and a full-time faculty of 21 members with intake of 120 students and diploma intake of 60.The department gives the students a holistic and pragmatic view of the present scenario of the Electronics and Communication industry as well as a grounding in the concepts and theories that will shape the future of the industry.
