Law School Admission Test (LSAT) 2016 India Notification & Exam Schedule

 

Law School Admission Council (LSAC) invites applications for admissions to Law School Admission Test (LSAT) for the academic year 2016.

Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is conducted by Law School Admission Council (LSAC).

Law School Admission Test (LSAT) India is a standardized test of reading and verbal reasoning skills designed by the USA–based Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for use by law schools in India. The LSAT India is a standardized test of reading and verbal reasoning skills designed by the US-based Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for use by law schools in India for their various law programs — BA L.L.B, L.L.B. and L.L.M. The LSAT—India is administered in 16 cities across India.

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> Interested candidate must have passed 12th examination with 50% marks from a recognised board of examination along with a post graduation in LL.B/B.L degree with 50% of marks from a recognised university

Mode of Examination

LSAT is Paper Based Test (PBT).

Application Procedure:

Candidates are advised to refer to official notifications /documents for detailed application procedure. IndCareer.com published details for informational purpose.

=> Register online for the LSAT-India entrance test by logging on to lsat.formistry.com (registrations opens on 9th November 2015).

=> The LSAT-India registration fee is Rs 3800/- the fee can be paid online or by a demand draft/pay order/ banker's cheque.

=> The candidate can also contact Pearson VUE at [email protected] for more information.

=> On completion of the registration, all candidates will get an LSAT-India registration number.

=> Candidates will need to mention this LSAT-India registration number while submitting the application forms to the associated colleges.

=> After obtaining the LSAT-India registration number, the candidate must download/obtain the application form from the associated college.

=> The college admission application forms will require candidates to mention their LSAT-India registration number.

=> Candidates must ensure that they write their LSAT-India registration number at the given place in the Application Form of the associated colleges.

Law School Admission Test (LSAT) Registration Fee is Rs. 3800/-.

Important Dates:

LSAT Important dates section aims to list all important dates such as date of availability of form, last submission date, result date, counseling date, etc.

  • Registration Window (Online Payments): 9th November 2015 to 1st May, 2016 till 12 noon
  • Registration Window (Demand Draft Payments): 9th November, 2015 to 28th April, 2016
  • Admit Card Release: 8th May, 2016 to 14th May, 2016
  • Date of Examination LSAT 2016: 15th May, 2016
  • Declaration of LSAT 2016 Results: 3rd June, 2016

North: Chandigarh, Delhi (NCR), Jaipur, Lucknow

South: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi

East: Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Raipur, Ranchi

Selection Process:

Results will be announced on 3rd June, 2016.
