The Koustuv Group of Institutions (KGI) began with the aim of providing world class educational opportunities to the students. Its first step towards the goal was College of Engineering Bhubaneswar.The Naba Digant Educational Trust (NDET) established this Engineering College in 1999 under the leadership of Chairman Er. Prabhat Ranjan Mallick.KGI expanded its foray by establishing Koustuv Institute of Self Domain(KISD), the exclusively Degree Engineering college for Women .Now Under the banner of Koustuv Group BEC, KIT, KSE, KBS, KIS, NIMS seek to provide over 10,000 students Technical,Management,Media, Basic Science education and life skills per year.
The Main campus of Koustuv Group of Institutions is located at the technological hub of Bhubaneswar. NBA have accredited to Institutes belongs to KGI; it has produced graduates with cent percent results nearly every year.
