Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is a national level entrance exam for admissions to Post Graduation (PG) in Management and Computer Applications courses in Karnataka state. This is an examination that is conducted by the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) which is a combination of more than 169 private colleges of the state.
This exam is conducted twice in the year.
The candidates who will clear the KMAT Karnataka 2020 exam will be eligible for admissions to MBA course in various Karnataka colleges. Those who will make it to the merit list through KMAT result 2020 will then be called for the counselling session by various colleges of Karnataka as per their respective cut-offs.
The KPPGCA is a professional body set up in 2003 for facilitating admission to MBA and MCA programs in the various participating colleges of Karnataka.
Following are the key dates and timelines to register and apply for KMAT 2020. Candidates are supposed to adhere to the schedule of the Registration time lines for KMAT 2020.

Entry requirements into professional courses like MBA/PGDM/MCA in Karnataka are followed as per the UGC guidelines.
Bachelor's degree with minimum 3 years duration/ Masters degree examination of any recognised education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent, and have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate (40% for SC/ST candidate). Candidates in their final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible.
MCA
Bachelor's degree with 50% marks. Candidates should have studied Maths at 10+2 stage or at graduation level.
- Candidates who are applying for MBA have to prepare a DD of Rs 1000/-
- Candidates who are applying for MCA have to prepare a DD of Rs 1000/-

The KMAT 2020 Admit Card will be issued online and will be available through registered email id of the candidate. The candidates are supposed to download the same and follow the instructions given in the Admit Card.
The KMAT result 2020 second phase is scheduled to be released on 6 December 2020. The exam was conducted successfully on 20 October 2020.
