Shirpur is a big commercial center. Shirpur occupies a place of great importance in educational, cultural and social life of the State of Maharashtra. Most struggled personality great Freedom Fighter Gandhian Patriotic, Karmveer V. T. Randhir known pains and patience of common human with educational foresight and real concern for the welfare of tribal and weaker students decided to form an academic institution. As a result Kisan Vidya Prasarak Society (KVPS) was established on 15th June 1941.
