King George's Medical University, Lucknow invites applications for admissions to B.Sc Optometry for the academic year 2016 - 17.

B.Sc Optometry is conducted by King George's Medical University, Lucknow.

Duration:

B.Sc Optometry course duration is four years.

Intake:

40 seats

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
=> Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years) or

=> Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) or

=> An equivalent exam with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or University with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology) and English

=> Candidates from general and OBC category must have secured an aggregate of at least 50% marks and at least 40% of marks in the case of SC/ST category in the qualifying exam

=> Must be minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2015

=> Both males and females are eligible. Candidates must be medically fit.

Online:
=> By Credit Card/Debit Card (Master/Visa Only) or Netbanking till 31st January 2016 Candidate can directly proceed for filling of application form after payment

Offline:
=> Candidate can also deposit CASH through bank challan of Allahabad bank/HDFC bank till 28th January 2016, for this first download bank challan from website www.kgmu.org and deposit the exam fee in any branch of the Allahabad Bank or HDFC bank branch in India

=> The candidate will be provided a receipt with Transaction ID number on its deposition. It is required to be upload scan copy of this Bank receipt with this transaction ID for filling the application form. In case of payment by bank Challan candidate will be re-login with their login ID and Password

=> Candidate required sending scanned copy of bank receipt ready for the filling the application form at this stage

Fee Details:

Candidates for the entrance test will have to pay a Non-refundable fee of Rs.3000/- for Gen & OBC and Rs.1000/- for SC/ST payable through Allahabad Bank.
