Department of Futures Studies

The Department of Futures Studies, instituted in 1990-91 by the UGC and the Department of Science and Technology (Govt. of India), is one of the premier departments of the University of Kerala specializing in interdisciplinary studies. The prime objective of the Department has been undertaking interdisciplinary research and teaching programme at the post-graduate level with an emphasis on scientific study of future.
