West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), Kolkata invites applications for admissions to Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) for the academic year 2016 - 17.
JEMAT is an yearly exam conducted for admissions to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Human Administration (MHA) an AICTE approved PG diploma programme offered by the various management private and government institutions of the state.
Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) is conducted by West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), Kolkata.

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
=> The minimum qualification for admission to MBA programmes is a Bachelors degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Engineering/Technology /Medical /Dental/Agriculture or other professional courses from recognized universities.
=> The candidates who expect their graduation results by September of a given year may also apply for this examination.

=> The current examination fees are Rs 800 for general category and Rs 400 for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates (without late fine) while the corresponding fees are Rs 1000 and Rs 500 respectively (with late fine).
=> Appropriate certificates must be provided in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.
=> The examination fees are to be paid in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of West Bengal University of Technology payable at Kolkata. Advertisements inviting application for JEMAT are usually published in leading dailies and also posted on the university website by December / early January.
