16th February 2016: Jaipur: Sitapura situated India International School organized a Mathematics workshop on Tuesday. Almost 30 students from 12 different schools have strengthened their bond with mathematics and enhanced reasoning and logic skills.
The workshop was conducted by Bodhayan Sansthan, a registered society for enhancing Mathematical skills. The workshop comprised of two sessions and an exhibition. The first session was taken by Shri Sohan Lal Gupta on working with numbers and tricks for quick calculations. This was followed by session two, which was a practical session. Students worked in groups of six and prepared models on tangent properties of circle theorem.
Students also made 3D solid shapes from paper and understood comparisons of fractions under the guidance of Shri Nagarjun Sharma. At the end, the students viewed an exhibition of various working models based on geometrical theorems.
