IIIT Naya Raipur is inviting applications for admission to its Ph.D. Programs for the Spring Semester of 2024. The programs cover various disciplines, including Engineering, Science, English, and Management. The objective of these Ph.D. programs at IIIT-NR is to equip scholars for roles as global academic, industrial, and R&D leaders. Successful candidates admitted to the Ph.D. programs under the regular Institute Scholar scheme (full time) are eligible for an Institute Teaching/Research Assistantship, amounting to Rs 31,000 per month, following MHRD guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria
- The minimum educational qualification for admission is a Master’s degree with a consistently good academic record in the relevant discipline.
- Candidates must have a first division or its equivalent in both Bachelor and Master’s level degrees.
- For candidates seeking admission under the Institute Scholar category, the following qualifying examination criteria apply: a. Ph.D. (Engineering): GATE/UGC-NET/CSIR-NET b. Ph.D. (Science, Management): GATE/UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/NBHM c. Ph.D. (HSS): UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/GATE Note: The Selection Committees reserve the right to set higher criteria than the minimum qualifications listed above.
- Applicants under the INDIVIDUAL FELLOWSHIP category should have qualified CSIR/UGC/DAE/NBHM/DST/DBT/ICAR/ICMR/ICPR or secured funding from such agencies. They are not entitled to Institute Assistantship.
- Applicants in the Sponsored (Full-time) and Part-time categories must be regular employees of the sponsoring organization with at least two years of professional experience in the respective field.
- Applicants in the Self-financed and On-deputation categories should have at least two years of professional experience in the respective field. The applicant should have qualified in a national-level exam (NET/GATE, etc.).

Application Process:
- Before filling out the application form, please carefully read the instructions provided below.
- All applications will be accepted exclusively through the online portal of IIIT Naya Raipur at https://www.iiitnr.ac.in/.
- To initiate the process, the applicant must register online by providing the necessary details. Login credentials will be sent to the email used for registration.
- Using the received login details, the applicant should log in and complete the application by furnishing all required information. It is important to upload testimonials, along with a photograph and signature, where necessary.
- Upon completing the application, the applicant will be directed to the payment gateway. After a successful payment of Rs. 500/- (application fees), the applicant will be prompted to confirm the final submission of the application.
- Following the final submission, an acknowledgment of payment, along with a copy of the application, will be provided for future reference.
- During the written test/interview, the applicant must bring a printout of the application along with all necessary attachments and their original documents.
- For applicants applying to multiple disciplines, a separate registration (using the same email ID) is required, and payment should also be made separately.
