The origins of Hero Group can be traced to 1956 when Hero Cycles Limited was established by the Munjal brothers, namely Dayanand Munjal, Satyanand Munjal, Brij Mohan Lall Munjal and O. P. Munjal. Hero has since become synonymous with two-wheelers in India. Hero MotoCorp (Formerly Hero Honda Motors Ltd.) is the world’s largest manufacturer of two wheelers.
