The Gujarat Common Entrance Test popularly known as GUJCET is a state level medical entrance exam. It is conducted to offer admission to aspirants in different medical fields such as BDS, MBBS, Physiotherapy, Homeopathy, Ayurved, Nursing, Optometry etc. in different government and private colleges in the state of Gujarat.
GUJCET Syllabus
GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) is a state-level examination conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) for admission to various undergraduate courses in Engineering, Pharmacy, and other programs offered by colleges and universities in Gujarat. It is important for candidates to know the GUJCET syllabus to prepare well for the exam.
In the academic year 2023-24, the NCERT based (reduced) syllabus adopted by Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar for the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination, Standeard 12 Science Stream, will be the Syllabus for GUJCET-2024 Examination.
The GUJCET syllabus is based on the Gujarat State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GSEB) curriculum for class 11th and 12th.

GUJCET Exam Pattern
- The GUJCET Exam will be conducted offline.
- Candidates will be able to attempt the examination in English, Hindi, or Gujarati language.
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

The examination format will consist of a combined question paper for Physics and Chemistry, comprising 40 questions each, totaling 80 questions. The marks allotted will be 80, and candidates will have 120 minutes to complete this section. The OMR Answer Sheet provided will accommodate 80 answers.
For Biology and Mathematics, separate question papers will be provided, along with separate OMR Answer Sheets. Each section will contain 40 questions, totaling 40 marks, and candidates will be given 60 minutes to complete each section. The OMR Answer Sheets for Biology and Mathematics will accommodate 40 answers each.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Education Department, Government of Gujarat will conduct the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET). Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) is an annual common entrance exam for those candidates who want to be admission into various medical courses in the state of Gujarat. Candidates will be admission into various courses like:- MBBS, BDS, Physiotherapy, Ayurved, Homeopathy, Nursing, Optometry, etc. in the various government and private colleges in the state of Gujarat. The admission form will be available in the month of March.
