University of Lucknow announces MSc Food Processing and Food Technology Admission 2015

University of Lucknow invites applications for admissions to MSc Food Processing and Food Technology for the academic year 2015 - 16.

MSc Food Processing and Food Technology Admission is conducted by University of Lucknow.

Duration: 2 Year

Intake: 50 Seats

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> Bachelor’s degree in Science/Home science/ Agriculture/ Engineering/ Technology

=> Candidates possessing three year B.Sc degree in any stream* with a minimum of 50% Marks (for general and OBC candidates) and 45% (for SC/ST candidates). Minimum second class for Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Engineering/ Technology

=> B.Sc Home Science / B.Sc Home Science with Food and Nutrition Specialization/ B.Sc Human Nutrition/ Applied Nutrition / Nutrition/ Nutrition and Dietetics/Food and Nutrition/Home Science as optional along with Chemistry /Biochemistry/ any Science subject as optional and Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Science and Quality Control

University of Lucknow
The idea of starting a University at Lucknow was first mooted by Raja Sir Mohammad Ali Mohammad Khan, Khan Bahadur, K.C.I.E. of Mahmudabad, who contributed an article to the columns of "The Pioneer'' urging the foundation of a University at Lucknow. A little later Sir Harcourt Butler, K.C.S.I., K.C.I.E, was appointed Lieutenant-Governor of the United Provinces, and his well-known interest in all matters under his jurisdiction, specially in matters educational, gave fresh life and vigour to the proposal.
