Ph.D Chemistry is conducted by University of Delhi.
Those having direct fellowship are required to go through an interview process and qualified applicants in consultation with supervisor from department will submit the application to Department Research. Those Candidates who do not have any fellowship and opt to go for the entrance test for Ph.D. fellowship and admission, should apply to the department on the enclosed Performa.
Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
=> The eligibility criteria for admission is minimum 55% marks in Masters degree/M.Phil./M.Tech./LL.M./M.D./M.S. Degree in the same or allied subject from a recognized University with 5% relaxation for OBC/SC/ST and Persons with Disability. The allied subjects for admission to Ph.D. in a particular Department shall be decided by the DRC of that respective Department.
=> No Candidate shall be eligible to register for the Ph.D. programme if he/she is already registered for any full time programme of study in any University/Institution.
=> Foreign nationals may be registered in a Department in a year over and above the maximum admissible strength provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria. However, at any given time, the total number of foreign students should not exceed 10% of the total admissible strength. Foreign -nationals must provide evidence of language competence suited to the Department they wish to join.

Application should be sent to The Head, Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi by 31st August, 2015 alongwith a State Bank of India bank draft of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST Candidates) in favour of “The Registrar, University of Delhi”. Application should be sent by registered post. Local students can submit the application in a sealed envelope to the office of the Department. The envelope should be marked “Ph.D. Admission – 2015”.
