University of Delhi invites applications for admissions to M.Phil for the academic year 2015 - 16.

M.Phil is conducted by University of Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

For Full-time Candidates:
=> The minimum qualifications for admission to the M.Phil (Full-time) Program shall be a Master's Degree of an Indian University or an equivalent degree of a foreign University, in Education, or an allied* subject (related to Education) with a Second Class i.e., minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent grade

For Part-time Candidates:
=> The minimum qualifications for admission to the M.Phil (Part-time) Program shall be a Master's Degree of an Indian University, or an equivalent degree of a foreign University, in Education or an allied* subject, with a Second Class i.e., minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent grade

=> Preference will be given to candidates having experience of working as educational practitioners; the eligibility criteria with respect to the reserved categories of students to be admitted to the M.Phil program (Full-Time and Part-Time) will be governed by the guidelines issued by the University of Delhi in accordance with statutory provisions

Application Procedure:

Completed application forms are to be submitted on all working days (Monday-Friday) from 11.00 am to 04.00 pm (Lunch 01.00 pm - 02.00 pm) except gazetted holidays in Room No. 7 of the Dept. of Education, University of Delhi-33, Chhatra Marg, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007

Fee Details:

Entrance Exam Fee of Rs.600/- (for General Category and OBC candidates) and Rs.300/- (for reserved category candidates SC/ST/PwD)

Important Dates:

M.Phil Important dates section aims to list all important dates such as date of availability of form, last submission date, result date, counselling date, etc.

  • Registration starts: 18th June, 2015
  • Last Date of Submission of Application Form: 10th July 2015
  • Date of Examination M.Phil 2015: 31st July 2015
  • Display of the List of Candidates called for interview: 14th Aug 2015 (04.00 pm)
