University of Calcutta, Kolkata invites applications for admissions to M.Phil Development Studies for the academic year 2015 - 16.

M.Phil Development Studies is conducted by University of Calcutta, Kolkata.

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
=> Any candidate who has passed the M.A/ M.Sc/ M.Com or equivalent examination of University of Calcutta with 55% marks in aggregate or with 60% marks from any other recognised university.
=> Applicants who are taking M.A/M.Sc/M.Com (or equivalent) Part II examination/ final semester examination may also apply.

In case of downloaded form, a DD of Rs. 250 in favour of Institute of Development Studies Kolkata and payable at Kolkata must be submitted along with the application. The filled-in application form along with self attested copies of mark sheets and certificates / documents must reach Joint Coordinator, M.Phil program, Institute of Development Studies Kolkata, DD-27/D, Sector-I, Salt Lake, Kolkata-700 064.

  • Last Date of Submission of Application Form: Monday, July 06, 2015
  • Date of entrance test: Monday, July 20, 2015
  • Date of interview: Tuesday, August 04, 2015 and Wednesday, August 05, 2015

Selection Process:

=> Selection will be on the basis of an entrance test followed by an interview.

=> Applicants having cleared NET, SET, or any other national level eligibility test, will not have to sit for entrance test.
