MBBS Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> Candidate must have passed (10+2) H.S. or equivalent exam and in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology at the qualifying (10+2) Higher Secondary or equivalent Exam shall be eligible for submitting application for entrance test

=> In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes /Scheduled Tribes the minimum marks to be obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology taken together in qualifying exam shall be 40% and it would be applicable also for the candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes for All India Category seat, but not for the Tripura State Domicile category

=> The candidates who have appeared in the (10+2) Higher Secondary or any equivalent qualifying Exam in the year 2015 are also eligible to appear in the entrance test

=> A candidate must have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31 December of the year of the application

Candidates are required to submit following Documents:
Applicants must submit the completed application form with attested photocopies of the following certificates:
(a) Pass Certificate of the SSLC/Madhyamik Exam as proof of Age
(b) Admit Card of the (10+2) HS Exam or equivalent exam pending declaration of the result
(c) Permanent Resident Certificate from the Competent Authority (in case of Tripura Domicile)
(d) ST/SC or Category Certificate from the Competent Authority (where applicable)
(e) BPL Card copies (where applicable)
(f) Two stamp size recent color photograph of the applicant

MBBS Important Dates

  • Last date for receipt of Applications : 20th May 2015 (upto 05.00 PM)

Laboratory Security Fee Rs 10,000/-; Hostel Security Fee Rs.15000/-; Library Security Fee Rs 10000/- & Sub Total Rs 35000/-

This is the first time that a Bi-lateral Total Hip Replacement was performed not only in Tripura but in the entire east of India and this extremely complicated operation was performed by a surgeon of national repute Dr Rakesh Rajput.
