Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital (SMVMCH) announces MBBS Admission 2015

Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital (SMVMCH), Puducherry invites applications for admissions to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) for the academic year 2015 - 16.

MBBS Admission is conducted by Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital (SMVMCH), Puducherry.

Common Entrance Test is to be conducted by an Association of Pondicherry Un-aided (self financing) Professional Colleges.

MBBS Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> Candidate for admission to the first year MBBS Degree Course should have passed the H.Sc (Academic) examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (40 % for SC/OBC) in the following subjects: Biology(Botany & Zoology)/Physics/Chemistry/Biotechnology

=> The Candidate should also have taken English as one of the Subject

=> Admission to MBBS Degree Course, the candidate should fulfill the necessary admission requirements prescribed by Govt. of Pondicherry for that degree course

=> Candidates should be 17 years of age as on 31st December 2015

=> The Application can be obtained from the Association Office at Ariyur and also from the above mentioned colleges by post or in person

=> The cost of the application form Rs.1000/- in person by cash or Rs.1050/- by demand draft drawn in favour of PLRMMDCWA (Pondicherry Linguistic & Religious Minority Medical and Dental Colleges Welfare Association), payable at Puducherry

• Last Date of Submission of Application Form: 25th May 2015
• Date of Examination MBBS 2015: 31st May 2015
• Declaration of MBBS 2015 Results: 02nd June 2015
• Counselling on : 25th June 2015
• Classes to commence by: 03rd July 2015

Selection Process:

Results will be announced on 02nd June 2015.
