SKL Telangana State Horticultural University announces PhD Horticultural Admission 2015

Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University, Hyderabad invites applications for admissions to Ph.D Horticultural for the academic year 2015 - 16.

Ph.D Horticultural is conducted by Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University, Hyderabad.

Intake: 4 seats

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> Candidates seeking admission into Ph.D. Degree course in Horticulture must have passed the relevant M.Sc. Degree examination i.e. M.Sc. (Hort.) / M.Sc.(Hons.) Horticulture from SKLTSHU / Dr.YSRHU / ANGRAU or an institution accredited by ICAR approved by SKLTSHU / Dr.YSRHU.

=> In the above qualifying examination, the candidates must have secured minimum OGPA of 5.50/10.00 (SC/ST-5.00/10.00) or 2.50/4.00 (SC/ST-2.00/4.00) or 50% marks in traditional system (SC/ST-40%)

=> Age: The upper age limit is 40 years as on 1st July of the year of admission.

Candidates are required to submit following:
Documents enclosed to the application shall not be returned. Hence candidates are advised to enclose only copies of the certificates.
(a) Two self addressed (with PIN code) envelopes affixing postage stamps of Rs.5/- on each.
(b) Memorandum of marks (all years) obtained at the Qualifying (B.Sc. level) examination or transcript, 10+2 (Intermediate) and S.S.C. examinations.
(c) Provisional / degree certificate of the qualifying examination.
(d) Study Certificates / Residence Certificates or a Certificate from the employer as the case may be (vide Annexure).
(e) Social Status Certificates issued by the competent authority, in case of candidates belonging to BC/SC/STs.
(f) Certificates regarding achievements at B.Sc. level in NCC/NSS/Sports /Games/Cultural/Literary activities at International / Inter State / Inter University level,if applicable.
(g) Date of birth certificate.
(h) Certificate towards physical disability, if any.

The originals of the above certificates should be produced at the time of interview.

Fee:

The selected candidates shall pay the entire fee at the time of admission on the day of Registration itself Rs.23,700/- (Rupees Twenty three thousand seven hundred only)

• Last Date of Submission of Application Form: 8th July, 2015
• Date of Examination Ph.D Horticultural 2015: 28th July, 2015

Selection Process:

Selection shall be based on the previous academic record B.Sc. – 10% , M.Sc. – 30% and performance in Interview 10% + entrance test (50%). The qualifying marks in the Entrance test shall be 50% for selection which is relaxable in case of SC / ST candidates with 25%.
