Sarla Anil Modi School of Economics, Mumbai invites applications for B.Sc Economics for the year 2015.

BSc Economics is conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute Of Management Studies(NMIMS), Mumbai.

B.Sc Economics Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
=> The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate awarded not eligible) in any stream from a recognized Board in the first attempt and should have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. The candidate must have passed in Mathematics / Statistics at 10+2 or equivalent examination.

=> Candidate with IB Diploma applying for B.Sc. (Economics) program is eligible only if he/she has offered & passed in Mathematics/ Statistics minimum at standard level (SL).

=> Candidates of CBSE, ICSE, should mention in online registration form 10th or equivalent aggregate marks of all the subjects for which candidate has appeared for (not best of four, five, six, seven).
=> Candidates above 25 years of age are not eligible to apply.

=> Candidates passing 10+2 or equivalent examination from Open or Distance learning (ODL) School recognized only by National Institute of Open schooling (NIOS) can apply for the program subject to fulfill the eligibility for the program & Candidates who have passed the10+2 examination by doing a part-time course or through distance learning / correspondence /externally / open school other than NIOS are not eligible to apply for the courses.

=> Only single mark sheet with all subjects taken in the first attempt is mandatory, no compartmentalized mark sheet is considered

Application Procedure for B.Sc Economics:

=> Registration Online on website www.nmims.edu & pay registration fee of Rs 1800/‐ (Non Refundable) by Credit Card or by Demand Draft. In favor of “SVKM’s NMIMS” (Please refer online registration for payment details) Registration fee is non- refundable.

=> Note: Credit Card payment option available till 30th April 2015 & Demand Draft payment option available till 25th April 2015.

Fee Details:

Registration fees: For NPAT 2015 (All Program)
Rs. 1800/- for one school program.
Rs. 3000/- for all programs of two different schools.
Rs. 4000/- for all programs of three different schools.
Rs. 5000/- for all programs of four different schools
Program fees for 1st year B. Sc. Economics (Batch 2014-17) were Rs.1,75,000/- The fees for 1 st year B. Sc. Economics (Batch 2015-18) will be declared at the time of admission.

Selection Process:

All eligible candidates who wish to apply for admission to the B.Sc. (Economics) Programme will be required to appear for online Test to be conducted at various locations in India.
1. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in NPAT 2015.
2. The selection will be solely based on merit. The cut‐off for deciding the merit shall lie solely with NMIMS.
