Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
All those candidates who have a passed the following examinations would be eligible for consideration for Lateral Entry 2020 in various diploma courses:

=> 12th Science with Vocational/Technical or 10th + (2 years ITI)

=> Students passing 12th Science with Vocational/Technical subjects or 10th + (2 years ITI) in that order shall be eligible for admission to second year Diploma Courses of appropriate program

Provided however if seats remained vacant then the same will be filled on the basis of merit as per the following eligibility criteria:
i) ITI at least with one year (who passed 10th level School Leaving Examination before admission to ITI courses) from any institution of Punjab/other state
ii) 10+2 vocational examination in various branches from any institute of Punjab/other state
iii) 10+2 with science from any institute of Punjab/Other state
iv) Two years certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal and have Punjab Domicile

A. Regular Diploma Courses (Engg.)
Relative merit in 10+2 Science examination passed with vocational/Technical subjects in various branches OR Pass in Two Year ITI Course inappropriate specialization after Matriculation, up to a maximum of 20% of sanctioned intake.

B. Part Time Diploma Courses (Engg.)
Relative merit in 10+2 Science examination passed with vocational/Technical subjects in various branches OR Pass in Two Year ITI examination with appropriate specialization after having passed the 10th examination, up to a maximum of 10% of sanctioned intake
