Patna University Bachelor of law Entrance Test (PUBLET) is an yearly exam conducted for admissions to LL.B. THREE YEAR (SEMESTER SYSTEM) at Patna law College.

Patna University Bachelor of law Entrance Test (PUBLET) is conducted by Patna University.

The admission shall be made strictly according to merit list prepared on the basis of said Entrance Test, subject to fulfilling of eligibility requirements mentioned below and the general laws of the university concerning admission.

Eligibility Criteria

All candidates who possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering or any other discipline from a recognised university fulfil Patna University BLET 2022 eligibility criteria. However, candidates also need to secure a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the bachelor’s honours exam or 55% aggregate marks in the pass course exam in order to meet Patna University BLET eligibility criteria.

Candidates appearing for their final year graduation exams are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates must present their final year exam result document before the stipulated date of Patna University admissions in the LLB course.

Age criteria: Candidates should not be more than 30 years in age (35 years for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates) as on the date stipulated by the varsity in order to meet the eligibility criteria.

Application Process

Step 1: Fill the BLET Application Form

The application forms for the BLET exam will be available in online mode on the official website of Patna University. Candidates have to fill the application form and pay the application form fee as under:

Online mode Candidates can pay the application fee in online mode using debit card/ credit card/ net banking

Offline mode – Candidates can pay the application fee through bank challan payable at any branch of Allahabad Bank.

Step 2: Download the Admit Card for BLET 

Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of Patna Law College by entering the UID number generated at the time of filling the application form. Admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the Patna University BLET exam centre.

Step 3: Appear for Patna University BLET Exam

Next, candidates need to appear for BLET exam at the allotted test centre as per the scheduled date and timings. The exam is a paper-pen based test which contains questions on subjects such as General Knowledge, Current Affairs, and Legal Aptitude.

Step 4: Check Patna University BLET Result

Candidates can check Patna University BLET result on the official website of Patna Law College by entering their roll number. The minimum qualifying percentage for BLET is 33% out of the total marks.

Candidates qualifying the law entrance exam can then fill up the Patna Law College admission form (available at the college website) to secure a seat in LLB course at Patna Law College.
