About the Program
The PhD program of the University in Law discipline is rigorous, multidisciplinary and broad in scope. This Doctor of Philosophy program is targeted at research scholars, members of teaching fraternity in Universities and Institutions of higher learning, and professionals from private and public sectors. The intensity of the program demands energy and zeal in the pursuit of greater insight into the chosen topic and a willingness to master all essential components of academic research. It covers doctoral research in a variety of law related areas such as: Space Law, Criminal law, Environment Law, Intellectual Property rights, Cyber Law, and Property Rights.

The main objective of the PhD Program is to promote higher learning and advanced research in areas relating to Law and Allied disciplines. The IMS Unison University shall provide the extensive learning and research environment for the doctoral research program in Law.

PhD in Law Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> 55% marks in aggregate at Post Graduation level alongwith consistently good academic record. JRF qualified students will be extempted from giving entrance test but they will have to appear for the Interview round.

=> A candidate must have passed Master of Laws (LL.M) with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University.

=> For Foreign Nationals eligibility shall be as per UGC guidelines/rules.

Application Procedure for PhD in Law:

=> A candidate is required to fill up the prescribed online Registration Form and submit it along with a registration fee of Rs.1500/- through the post/credit card/debit card/net banking etc.

=> Registration by using any of the following modes:

Online at the University website:
After filling the form pay a registration fee of Rs. 1500/- online through Debit Card / Credit Card /Net Banking. On successful payment of registration fee, a receipt will be generated by the system. You are required to scan and email this receipt to [email protected] along with the scanned copies of all the documents required.

Directly at University Admission Offices:
The Registration form can be directly collected from the University Admission Office in the campus. This shall be submitted by hand / post along with the registration fee of Rs. 1500/- and the attested copy of the required documents for the Program registering for.
