Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate/Master’s degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or 5.5 CGPA out of 10 on a 10-point scale.
- A relaxation of 5% marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ Differently-Abled.

- Applicants must apply online before the last date and satisfy the eligibility criteria to be considered for admission.

- Application fee: Rs. 1500/- + Transaction Charges as applicable
- Mode of Payment: Online through debit card/credit card/net banking
Selection Procedure
- Selection based on Entrance Examination, Personal Interaction, and Interview.
Pattern of Entrance Exam
- Date of Written Entrance Examination: January 21, 2024 (Sunday)
- Duration: 2 Hrs. (10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon)
- Reporting Time: 09:30 AM with an original and valid Photo ID (PAN Card, Driving License, and Aadhaar Card) along with the admit card downloaded from the University website.
- Center for Written Entrance Examination: Swami Rama Himalayan University Campus, Jolly Grant, Dehradun.
- Answer of the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) should be marked by the candidate using a black ink ballpoint pen only.
- Language of the question paper will be in English medium only.
- No penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers.
- Syllabus: The Question paper will comprise Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) of two sections: Research Methodology (50%) and Subject-Specific (50%) (as per SRHU syllabus)
Personal Interaction and Interview
- Marks: 50
- Duration: 30 Min
- Syllabus: Qualified candidates are required to discuss their proposed area of research in the form of PPT, before the duly constituted Departmental Research Committee (DRC)
- Timings: The date for personal interaction and interview will be intimated only to the candidates who qualify in the Written Entrance Examination.
