OPGJEE 2015 Notification (Odisha Post Graduate Joint Entrance Exam)

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board invites applications for Odisha Post Graduate Joint Entrance Exam (OPGJEE) for the year 2015.

Odisha Post Graduate Joint Entrance Exam (OPGJEE) is an yearly exam conducted for admissions to Masters Degree Programmes in Engineering / Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in the state of Odisha College.

Admissions to the Post Graduate courses in Odisha will be through the OPGJEE 2015 test conducted by the Odisha JEE Board. The online applications for the OPGJEE 2015 will be available from January 15, 2015. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria as specified below on this page must appear and qualify in the Odisha PG 2015 to avail admissions to the M.Tech courses in the state of Odisha. OPGJEE Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree of examination in the relevant field from any University of Odisha or equivalent recognized University as defined by UGC/AICTE.

=> The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.

Mode of Examination

OPGJEE is Computer Based Test (CBT).

Application Procedure for OPGJEE:

Candidates are advised to refer to official notifications /documents for detailed application procedure. IndCareer.com published details for informational purpose.

=> Candidates must apply online only.

=> They must upload their Photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression while filling in the OPGJEE 2015 Online Application Form.

=> After deduction of the 5% of the seats for NRI quota, the rest of the seats will be allotted as - 50% for GATE qualified candidates and 50% for OPGJEE qualified candidates

=> Online registration and choice filling will be held in Mid June – June end, 2015

=> Candidates will have to report to nodal centre and get their documents verified

=> The original certificates and mark sheets along with photocopies of certificates, mark sheets and other related documents in two sets as per eligibility of the candidate must be produced during document verification

=> After Document verification, Seat Allotment will be done and allotted Candidates have to pay Rs.16,000 (Govt. Institution) or Rs.30,000 (Private Institution) through a separate A/c Payee Bank Draft drawn in favour of “OPGJEE-2015” on any Nationalised Bank payable at Bhubaneswar.

=> The balance after deduction of the University fee of Rs.4,500 (as per section 1.8.2) shall be paid to the admitting college for adjustment against the tuition and other fees payable to the college

=> Note: The fee of Rs.16,000 or Rs, 30,000 will be for feited if the candidate later decides not to join the college / course in the allotted college

=> The OPGJEE 2015 schedule of counselling and venue will be notified through the website as well as through the rank card.

=> Admission is strictly based on OPGJEE 2015 merit rank and choice of the candidate given during the counselling.
