NMIMSs Balwant Sheth School of Architecture, Mumbai invites applications for Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) for the year 2015.

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) is conducted by NMIMSs Balwant Sheth School of Architecture, Mumbai.

Duration of the Programme : 5 Years

B.Arch Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
=> Admission to Bachelor of Architecture (5 years) of the NMIMS will be based on the following two criteria:

=> Minimum 50% marks in 10+2 exam or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board at the first attempt with Mathematics and English compulsory.
(or)
10+3 Diploma (Any stream) recognized by Central/ State Governments with minimum 50% marks at the first attempt with Mathematics and English compulsory. (or)

International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate awarded is not eligible) in any stream from a recognized Board with minimum 50% marks at the first attempt as a regular student Mathematics at higher level (HL) and English compulsory.

=> NATA Score (Minimum 80 out of 200)
The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent including IB Diploma (IB certificate awarded is not eligible) in any stream from a recognized Board at the first attempt (Mathematics and English compulsory) and should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks at the said examination. Candidates who have not cleared the 10+2 or equivalent examination in the first attempt are NOT eligible to apply for the admission to the course.
Candidates passing 10+2 or equivalent examination compartment are not eligible.

=> Candidates passing 10+2 or equivalent examination from Open or Distance learning (ODL) School recognized only by National Institute of Open schooling (NIOS) can apply for the program subject to fulfilling the eligibility for the program & Candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination in part time mode or through distance learning/correspondence/externally/open school other than NIOS are not eligible to apply for
the courses.

=> Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 examination can also apply but they have to produce all the necessary documents, in original, within the stipulated time by the University 2.2.3.

=> Register online on website www.nmims.edu and pay registration fee of Rs. 1600/- (non- refundable) by Credit Card and by Demand draft (Please refer online registration for payment details)
Note: Credit Card payment option available till 17th June 2015 & Demand Draft payment option available till 13th June 2015.

Fee Details:

=> Fees for Batch-2014: Rs. 3, 65, 000/- (for information only)

=> Fees for the current year will be intimated at the time of admission.

B.Arch Important Dates

B.Arch Important dates section aims to list all important dates such as date of availability of form, last submission date, result date, counselling date, etc.

• Online Registration on website www.nmims.edu: Thursday, 5th March, 2015
• Last date of online Registration: Wednesday, 17th June, 2015
• Merit List of candidates selected for admission on website www.nmims.edu at 5.00 p.m. : Tuesday, 23rd June, 2015
• Payment of Admission fees (Time: 11.00am to 4.00 pm): 24th June to 30th June, 2015
• Declaration of Second merit list (if required) : Thursday ,2nd July, 2015
• Payment of Admission fees (Time: 11.00am to 4.00 pm): 3rd to 7th July, 2015
• Declaration of Third merit list: Thursday,9th July, 2015
• Payment of admission fees (Time: 11.00am to 4.00 pm) : 10th to 11th July ,2015
• Commencement of classes : Monday, 13th July 2015
• Closure of Admission: Friday, 31st July,2015

Selection Process:

=> The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the application data in terms of academic marks at the 12th std. and NATA Score.

=> The selection will be solely based on merit. In this regard, the decision of the NMIMS will be final and undisputable as also shall be binding on all concerned.
