Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad announces Super Speciality Courses Admissions 2015

Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad invites applications for admissions to Super Speciality Courses for the academic year 2015 - 16.

Super Speciality Courses is conducted by Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad.

Courses Offered and Intake:

=> DM - Cardiology : 2 seats
=> DM - Neurology : 8 seats
=> DM - Nephrology : 4 seats
=> DM- Clinical Pharmacology : 4 seats
=> DM - Medical Oncology : 3 seats
=> DM - Rheumatology : 1 seats
=> M. Ch.-Urology : 4 seats
=> M. Ch.- Cardiothoracic Surgery : 6 seats
=> M. Ch. -Plastic Surgery : 4 seats
=> M. Ch.-Neurosurgery : 6 seats

Duration: 3 Year

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> Candidates who have passed (MD/MS/DNB) examination from Medical Colleges recognized by MCI or its statutory equivalent are eligible. Candidates who will be completing raining period on or before 30/06/2015 are also eligible to apply,   provided the candidates submit (1) a certificate issued by the Principal / Dean of college regarding the likely date of completion of the course and acquiring the eligible qualification and (2) a declaration by the
candidate, failing which their applications will be rejected.

=> No condonation of training period shall be accepted unless approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) along with submission of necessary proof.  The condonation of training period shall be restricted to the period ending on 30‐06‐2015 and not beyond.  The condonation certificate must be submitted along with the application form.

=> The candidates who have already registered for any regular course at NIMS and would like to apply for admission to another course shall resign from such Training / course in the Institute duly fulfilling the conditions of the bond and failure to do so may render their application liable for rejection.

Application Procedure:

Candidates are advised to refer to official notifications /documents for detailed application procedure. IndCareer.com published details for informational purpose.

=> A candidate must submit hard copy of the application form.  

=> The application form may be downloaded and filled appropriately.  Please note that all the columns in the application form require to be filled in.  Incomplete application forms are liable to be rejected.

=> A demand draft  may be obtained for Rs.2,000/‐ (Rupees two thousand only) in favour of the Director, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, payable at Hyderabad or by paying Rs.2,000/‐ in NIMS cash counter in person towards application fee.  The candidates must write his/her name and course applied for on the back side of the DD/NIMS cash receipt.  Application fee is non‐refundable even if the application is summarily rejected.  The demand draft or NIMS cash receipt shall be dated between 10‐06‐2015 to 20‐06‐2015.

=> The filled‐in Application form will have to be printed and signed. The hard copy of the filled‐in application form with all necessary documents (Annexure I) and the DD/NIMS cash receipt shall be submitted in person or sent by post to the Associate Dean, Aptitude Testing, 2nd floor, Old OPD Block, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Punjagutta, Hyderabad ‐500 082, Telangana on or before 5.00 PM on 20‐06‐2015.
