National Law University(NLU), New Delhi announces PhD Admission 2015

National Law University(NLU), New Delhi invites applications for admissions to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) for the academic year 2015 - 16.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) is conducted by National Law University(NLU), New Delhi

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
=> Postgraduate degree in the Law with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade

=> Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

=> However, before the completion of the admission procedure, the original mark sheet of the qualifying examination has to be produced to show that the candidate fulfills the eligibility criteria.

Application Procedure:

=> The admission will be through an entrance test and a personal interview. The entrance test will be held at National Law University, Jodhpur, on 5th July 2015 from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm

=> The entrance test will seek to judge the abilities of the candidates in the fields of language, research aptitude, logical reasoning, and legal knowledge. The legal knowledge-specific questions will be multiple choice as well as short-answer type and for the rest, there will be only multiple-choice questions.

=> Filled-up application form along with the self-attested photocopies of the supporting documents and a demand draft of Rs.2500/- (Rs. Two thousand five hundred only) payable to the Registrar, National Law University, Jodhpur, payable at Jodhpur must reach the following address on or before 29th June 2015
