National Institute of Technology, Calicut invites applications for Master of Science (M.Sc) for the year 2015.

Master of Science (M.Sc) is conducted by National Institute of Technology (NIT), Calicut.

Applications are invited by National Institute of Technology (NIT), Calicut for admission to 2 years Master of Science (M.Sc) program in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for the session 2015-16.

Master of Science (M.Sc) Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
=> For M.Sc in Mathematics Program: Candidates should have B.Sc degree in Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Statistics or three-main-system with Mathematics as one of the subjects with at least 60% marks (CGPA 6.5/10 or equivalent score). For SC/ST candidates, 55% marks (or CGPA 6.0/10 or equivalent score).

=> For M.Sc in Physics Program: Candidates should have bachelor's degree with at least 60% marks/ CGPA 6.5/10 or equivalent score, with Physics as main and Mathematics as a subsidiary subject or Physics and Mathematics among the main subjects. For SC/ST candidates, 55% marks or CGPA 6.0/10 or equivalent score.

=> For M.Sc in Chemistry Program: Candidates should have bachelor's degree with Chemistry (Main) with Mathematics as one of the subsidiaries or bachelor’s degree through Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (three-main system), with at least 60% marks (CGPA 6.5/10 or equivalent score). For SC/ST candidates, 55% marks (CGPA 6.0 /10 or equivalent score).

=> The printed data sheet obtained after uploading the application should be send to the Chairperson PG Admissions, National Institute of Technology, Calicut, NIT campus P.O., Calicut – 673601.

=> Demand draft towards application fee (Rs. 600/- for open and OBC candidates, Rs. 300/- for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of “Director NIT Calicut” payable at State Bank of India, NIT Calicut Branch (Code No. 2207) is to be enclosed.
