LGB Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH), Tezpur invites applications for MPhil and MSc for the year 2015.

MPhil and MSc Admission is conducted by LGB Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH), Tezpur

Applications in prescribed formats are invited for admission in the following courses at LGB Regional Institute of Mental Health, Tezpur, for the session 2015-17, under Gauhati University

Seats : 23

Duration: Two (2) years

MPhil and MSc Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

i) M.Phil in Clinical Psychology:
=> Post Graduate degree from a UGC recognized University in Psychology / Counselling Psychology / Clinical Psychology/ Applied Psychology/Psychological Counseling, with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate

ii) M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work (PSW):
=> Post-graduate degree in Social Work from a UGC recognized university securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate in Master's degree

iii) M.Sc Nursing (Psychiatric Nursing):
=> The candidate should possess certificate of B.Sc/Post-basic B.Sc degree in Nursing with not less than 55% aggregate marks from a college/institute/university recognized by the Indian Nursing Council; the applicant should be registered with the State Nursing Council, with minimum one
(1) year of working experience as on the day of admission

Application Procedure for MPhil and MSc:

Candidates are advised to refer to official notifications /documents for detailed application procedure. IndCareer.com published details for informational purpose.

Step-1: First you must register yourself, by providing a valid email address; choose this carefully to be the one you check frequently, as all communications to you from the LGBRIMH offices will be sent to this address; after Registration an email (that you have registered with) will be sent along with an Activation code

Click the Application Activation Process link to proceed the registration (with the Application number, the password and the Activation Code sent to the email)

Step-2: In the Application Activation Process page enter the Application Number, the password (that you have set in the Registration page) and the Activation Code that is sent to your registered email. After activation of the Application form is over a Challan will be generated through which Application fee payment has to be done in any branch of Axis Bank

Candidates has to take a printout of the Challan and go to their nearest Axis Bank Branch and pay the Application Fee only on or after 05th January 2015

A copy of the online generated form is to be printed and duly signed by the candidate and sent to “The Director, LGBRIMH, Tezpur-784001”; the copy should reach the institute on or before 10th February 2015 along with all supporting documents and the 'LGBRIMH' copy of challan (non-refundable) of General (Unreserved /OBC (NCL): Application Fee - Rs.200/-; SC/ST - Rs.100/-
