MGM CET 2015 Notification and Exam Date for MBBS Admissions

MGM Institute of Health Sciences, Navi Mumbai invites applications for Mahatma Gandhi Mission Common Entrance Test (MGM CET) for the year 2015.

Mahatma Gandhi Mission Common Entrance Test (MGM CET) is an yearly exam conducted for admissions to MBBS at MGM Institute of Health Sciences, Navi Mumbai.

MGM CET is conducted by MGM Institute of Health Sciences, Navi Mumbai.

Seats:

a) MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai: 100 (50 Seats subject to approval from MCI, New Delhi)

b) MGM Medical College, Aurangabad: 150 Seats

MGM CET Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
=> Candidate Must be an Indian National

=> He/She Must have been born on or before 31st December 1998

=> He/She Must be medically fit

=> Candidate Must have passed Qualifying Examination with English, Physics and Biology as subjects from the board recognized by COBSE, New Delhi with not less than 50% marks in aggregate

=> Candidates who have appeared or are going to appear in Qualifying Examination in March/April 2015 are also eligible, provided they produce documentary proof of having passed the said examination with minimum 50% marks at the time of admission counseling

Application Procedure for MGM CET:

=> Candidates desirous to seek admission to MBBS course shall have to apply ONLINE in the prescribed application form to appear in MGMCET – 2015

=> The information Brochure and application Form will be available online from 09th March 2015 to 20th April 2015, without late fees and upto 27th April 2015 with late fees

The details of online form submission process

=> Instructions page will be displayed. Carefully read the Instructions for filling online form.

=> Candidate should fill all the entries in application form and upload his/ her Scanned photograph and signature

=> System will validate required fields before allowing him / her to submission

=> Eligible Candidate will be able to submit the form; there is provision to make changes in the Application Form before Click on Submit Button

=> Unique Application No (Username) along with details of nonrefundable required fee will be available on challan and same details will be mailed to the Candidate on his given Email ID

=> Candidate should take printout of Bank Challan. With this Challan pay the required fee in any Branch of State Bank of India on Second Working Day on-words, from the day of Printing Challan and obtain your copy of Challan indicating Journal ID/Transaction ID

Fee Details:

The application cum examination fee for MGMCET 2015 is Rs.4500/- (Four thousand five hundred only)
After 20th April 2015, application fee becomes Rs.5500/- (Five thousand five hundred only)

Tuition Fees:
General: Tuition Fees for 4½ years + internship is per year Tuition Fees for 4½ years + internship is Rs 935,000/-
(Rupees Nine Lakh Thirty Five Thousand)

NRI: US $ 40,000 (Forty Thousand US Dollar) per year

MGM CET Exam Pattern

=> The examination will be conducted in English Medium only

=> Single paper of 3 hours duration containing of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), out of which 50 each will pertain to Chemistry & Physics and 100 to Biology

=> There will be no negative marking

=> Candidate should completely darken one and the only one best response (oval) on the OMR answer sheet
