Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Program 2015 @ NIT Warangal

National Institute of Technology, Warangal invites applications for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Program for the year 2015.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Program is conducted by National Institute of Technology, Warangal.

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up a temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the DST INSPIRE sponsored project entitled “Theoretical Investigation on Magnetic All Metal and Organo-Zintl Clusters”. The successful candidate may be allowed to register for PhD program at NIT Warangal as per the Institute rules.

Project Duration: 5 years

Note: The post is purely on temporary basis for a period one year and extendable till the end of the project based on the progress of the candidate.

Emoluments:

Rs. 25,000/- per month (Consolidated) for first two years and Rs. 28,000/- per month (Consolidated) for next three years.

JRF Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
B.Sc 1st Class (any branch with Chemistry as one of the subject)
M.Sc 1st Class (Physical/Inorganic Chemistry specialization)
GATE / NET qualified (Essential)

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal
National Institute of Technology, Warangal (Deemed University), formerly known as Regional Engineering College, was established in 1959. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation stone for this institute on October 10, 1959, the first in the chain of 18 NITs (formerly known as RECs) in the country. The Institute is well known for its dedicated faculty and staff, state-of-the-art infrastructure and excellent placement. As a NIT, it is in the processes of improving its standards to the level of a global technical institute. The curriculum has already been changed following the IIT pattern.
