HCAT is an yearly examination conducted for admissions to Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in Haryana State Self Financing Dental Colleges.
The total duration of BDS course is four years plus one-year compulsory internship
Total Intake through this exam is 700 Seats
=> He/She should attain the age of 17 years or more on 31st December 2015
=> Candidate must have passed Senior School Certificate Exam (10+2) of Board of School Education, Haryana or an exam recognized as equivalent thereto with atleast 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology
=> The candidate must have been placed in the merit list prepared as a result of the Haryana Common Admission Test-Dental 2015

=> The Last Date for Sale of Application Forms is 14th September, 2015
=> The last date of Submission of Application Form is 15th September, 2015
=> The Last Date for Receiving the Application Forms is 15th September, 2015
=> The HCAT 2015 Examination Date is 20th September, 2015
=> The HCAT 2015 Results Declaration on 23rd September, 2015
=> Date and Venue of Central Counseling on 25th September, 2015
=> Last Date of Reporting of Candidates at Member College on 28th September, 2015

=> The entrance examination will comprise of an objective type exam of 180 minutes duration containing 200 questions of 200 marks
=> There will be 50 questions each for Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany; the syllabus for entrance exam will be as per the 10+2 examination (ICSE/CBSE/Haryana Board or equivalent)
=> The question paper will be given in English. The candidate is required to answer 200 MCQs in 3 hours; each question shall carry equal marks. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answer or more than one choice indicated against a question
