Government of Tamil Nadu announces Post Basic BSc Nursing Admission 2015

Government of Tamil Nadu invites applications for admissions to Post Basic BSc Nursing for the academic year 2015 - 16.

Post Basic BSc Nursing is conducted by Government of Tamil Nadu.

Intake:

i) Madras Medical College, Chennai - (Category-I Service): 30 Seats; (Category-II Private): 10 Seats; Total: 40 Seats

ii) Govt Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College, Salem - (Category-I Service): 40 Seats; (Category-II Private): 10 Seats; Total: 50 Seats

Total: 90 Seats (Category-I Service - 70 Seats); (Category-II Private - 20 Seats)

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> The candidate should be a citizen of India

=> Candidate should be a Native of Tamil Nadu

=> Candidates who have studied from XI Std. to XII standard in schools of Tamil Nadu need not enclose the 'Nativity Certificate'

=> Candidates who are native of Tamil Nadu but studied XI Std. to XII Std and Diploma in Nursing course for a period of 3 or 3 ½ years either partly or completely in schools situated outside Tamil Nadu should produce the ‘Nativity Certificate’

=> Candidates should not have completed 45 years as on 31st December 2015. Evidence should be produced

=> Candidates belonging to all categories should have passed Diploma in Nursing Examination with a pass in the Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary or Intermediate or 10+2 or an equivalent examination recognized by the University

Applications can only be downloaded from the websites www.tnhealth.org and www.tn.gov.in and the filled application along with necessary enclosures and 2 self-addressed envelopes measuring 24 X 10 cms and sent in a large sized cover measuring 38 cm x 28 cm super-scribed "Application for Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Course 2015-16 Session" to the Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai-10 on or before 09th July 2015 by 05.00 pm along with a Demand Draft for Rs.350/- towards the cost of application form which is non-refundable drawn in favour of The Secretary, Selection Committee and payable at Chennai

• Last date for downloading: 05th July 2015
• Last Date of Submission of Application Form: 09th July 2015
• Declaration of Post Basic BSc Nursing 2015 Results: 03rd week of July 2015
• Allotment of seats by personal appearance: 01st week August 2015
