CUCET 2015 (Central Universities Common Entrance Test) Notification and Exam Dates

Central University of Rajasthan invites applications for Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) for the year 2015.

Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is an yearly exam conducted for admissions to Integrated UG and PG programmes at Central University of Rajasthan.

CUCET is conducted by Central University of Rajasthan.

A consortium of 8 Central Universities of Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu (called Participating Universities, PUs) which were established by an act of Parliament in the year 2009 will organize a combined Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET-2015) for admission to their various programmes.

The participating central universities are:
=> Central University of Haryana
=> Central University of Jammu
=> Central University of Jharkand
=> Central University of Kashmir
=> Central University of Kerala
=> Central University of Punjab
=> Central University of Rajasthan
=> Central University of Tamil Nadu

CUCET Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

Integrated M.Sc Programmes (5 Years)
Biochemistry (after 10+2) [25 Seats]: 10+2 in Science Stream or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Biology as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Biotechnology (after 10+2): [25 Seats]: 10+2 in Science Stream or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Biology as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Computer Science (after 10+2) [25 Seats]: 10+2 in any Stream or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Environmental Science (after 10+2) [25 Seats]: 10+2 in Science Stream or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Biology and / or Mathematics as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Microbiology (after 10+2) [25 Seats]: 10+2 in Science Stream or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Biology as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Statistics (after 10+2) [25 Seats]: 10+2 in any Stream or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Chemistry (after 10+2) [25 Seats]: 10+2 in Science Stream or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Chemistry as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks in aggregate for general category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Economics (after 10+2) [25 Seats]: 10+2 or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Economics and Mathematics OR Mathematics as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Mathematics (after 10+2) [25 Seats]: 10+2 or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Physics (after 10+2) [25 Seats]: 10+2 in Science Stream or equivalent of any recognised board in India with Physics and Mathematics as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

M.A. Programmes (2 Years)

Culture & Media Studies, Economic, English, Hindi, Public Policy Law & Governce, Social Work [20 each Seats]: Bachelor's degree from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

M. Pharm Programmes (2 Years)

Pharmaceutical Chemistry: [23 Seats (18+5 sponsored students)]: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Candidates with above qualifications but without valid GATE/GPAT Score will have to appear for the Entrance Test

Candidates with requisite qualifications and having at least two years of work experience in registered pharmaceutical company /Govt./Govt.-recognized Organizations (University/Colleges engaged in teaching and research, Govt. R&D institutions or R&D centers of industry) are eligible to apply under the category of sponsored students and will also have to appear in the Entrance Test

The work experience should be in the area mentioned in the requisite qualifications; sponsored candidates shall have to submit a sponsorship letter from their employer along with the application form for admission

M.Sc Programmes (2 years)

Biochemistry (20 Seats): Bachelor’s degree with Biochemistry/Zoology/Botany/Life sciences/Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Microbiology/ Medicine/ Pharmacy/ any other discipline of Biological sciences as one of the main subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects at least for One year or 2 semesters with minimum 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Biotechnology (20 Seats): Bachelor’s degree with Biotechnology/Zoology/Botany/Life sciences/Biochemistry/Genetics/Microbiology/Medicine/Pharmacy/any other discipline of Biological sciences as one of the main subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects at least for One year or Two semesters with minimum 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Chemistry (20 Seats): B.Sc degree or its equivalent from a recognized University with minimum of 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates with Chemistry as one of the main subjects

Computer Science (20 Seats): Following degree holders from recognized Universities with minimum score of 50% marks in graduation for general category and minimum 45% marks for reserved categories are eligible:

i) BCA/B.Sc. Computer Science/B.Sc IT/ B.Tech. Comp Engg/ B.Tech IT/ or equivalent
ii) B.Sc with computer science as one of the subject at graduation level
iii) Graduation with Mathematics and 12th in Science stream

Environmental Science (20 Seats): Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in any discipline of Science/Engineering/Agricultural Sciences with a minimum of 50 % marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Microbiology (20 Seats): Bachelor’s degree with Microbiology/Zoology/Botany/Life sciences/Biochemistry/ Genetics/ Biotechnology/ Medicine/ Pharmacy/ any other discipline of Biological sciences as one of the main subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects at least for One year or Two semesters with minimum 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Physics (20 Seats): Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates in Science with Physics as one of the main subjects

M.Arch Programme (2 Years)

M. Arch (Sustainable Architecture) (20 Seats): Bachelor of Architecture degree course or equivalent courses recognized by the Council of Architecture with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates
Candidate with valid GATE Score will be preferred and will be exempted from appearing for the Entrance Test

MBA Programmes (2 Years)

Master of Business Administration (30 Seats): Bachelor's degree from any recognized University in any discipline with 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

M.Tech Programmes (2 years) (Regular Seats (18 Seats) will be filled through CCMT-2015)

Computer Science & Engineering (Sponsored Category): 05 (Sponsored Seats)

Eligibility: B.E/B.Tech in any branch of Engineering /MCA/M.Sc with a valid minimum GATE Score in Computer Science and Engineering; candidates with above qualifications but without valid GATE Score will have to appear for the Entrance Test

Preference will be given to candidates with valid GATE Scores. Candidates with requisite qualifications and having at least two years of work experience in the relevant field of Govt./Govt.-recognized Organizations (University/Colleges engaged in teaching and research, Govt R&D institutions or R&D centers of industry) are eligible to apply under the category of sponsored students and will also have to appear in the Entrance Test

M.A./ M.Sc (Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Statistics)

Statistics (Specialization in Acturial Science) (20 Seats): Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50%marks and Statistics/Mathematics as one of the papers in the degree course, provided that the candidate has studied the subject of Mathematics at the 12th standard level as prescribed by CBSE or any State Board, 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

M.Sc. Tech. Mathematics (2+1 Years with exit option)

M.Sc Tech Mathematics (20 Seats): Bachelor's degree from a recognized University with Mathematics as one of the subjects at Graduate level with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

M.Com Programmes (2 years)

M.Com (20 Seats): Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Ph.D Programmes
Pubic Policy Law and Governece (03 Seats); Social Work (04 Seats); Stastics (06 Seats); Culture and Media Studies (02 Seats); Economics (04 Seats); English (04 Seats); Hindi (15 Seats); Microbiology (04 Seats); Pharmacy (04 Seats); Physics (08 Seats); Biochemistry (02 Seats); Biotechnology (06 Seats); Chemistry (04 Seats); Commerce (02 Seats); Computer Science 01 Seat); Computer Science & Engineering (02 Seats)

Eligibility: A consistently good academic record possessing a Master’s Degree in the subject concerned or in a cognate / allied subject with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; 5% relaxation in minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/OBC/PWD candidates

Architecture (04 Seats)

A consistently good academic record possessing:
a) Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent and Master’s degree in architecture/allied specialization or equivalent from any recognized institution;
or b) Bachelor's Degree in architecture or equivalent in first class with ten years’ experience in teaching/research/professional practice
(As per the CoA norms candidate having only a B.Arch Degree shall in addition to the prescribed coursework for candidates with Masters’ degree, be required to pursue the course work successfully in six subjects of the Master’s Degree courses of the School recommended by the Research Committee)

3 Year Integrated M.Sc B.Ed Programmes

[Physics - 15 seats, Chemistry - 15 seats, Mathematics - 15 seats, Economics - 15 seats]: B.Sc Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University with minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates with Physics as one of the main subjects

Reservation of Seats: Reservation of seats will be as per the GOI/UGC norms for SC/ST/OBC/PH wards

Application Procedure for CUCET:

Candidates are advised to refer to official notifications /documents for detailed application procedure. IndCareer.com published details for informational purpose.
Applicants are required to fill in the details in the form carefully. On submission of online application successfully the students will get successful completion message in the online case, In the offline case the candidate will get a message after reconciliation from the bankwithin 2-3 days

A candidate may fill the form partially and login again to complete it later; candidates will receive SMSs and Email alerts at the time of registration and after completing payment through online, in the offline case the student will get a message after reconciliation from SBI

The entire application is in 8 stage process

Stage 1: From www.cucet2015.co.in website we can directly click on the apply button to go to the registration for the three programs UG, PG and RP link we can see; the following is the screen shot you will get once you click on Apply button from home page it will go the stage 2

Stage 2: The following is the screen shot to apply the three programs UG, PG and RP; the candidate can click on any one link as per his/her choice

Stage 3: The following is the screen shot for registration process into various program; after successful registration candidate will get a mail and message to the respective register mail id and mobile

Stage 4: The following is the screen shot for Registration Details of a particular candidate in to various program

Stage 5: In this stage a candidate can upload his/her photo and sign scan copy with the limited size

Stage 6: In this stage a candidate can register for the three courses in a particular selected program from each university

Stage 7: In this stage a candidate canedit his application form andgo for payment processesin onlineand offline(SBI Only) mode

Stage 8: In this stage student can proceed for payment processes

Fee Details:

General/OBC Candidates
i. Rs.600/- for One PU; Application Fee - Rs.600/-; Bank Comission - Rs.50/-; Total Payment to be deposited in SBI - 650/- for One PU
ii. Rs.700/- for One PU; Application Fee - Rs.700/-; Bank Comission - Rs.50/-; Total Payment to be deposited in SBI - 750/- for One PUs
iii. Rs.800/- for One PU; Application Fee - Rs.800/-; Bank Comission - Rs.50/-; Total Payment to be deposited in SBI - 850/- for One PUs

SC/ST/PWD Candidates
i. Rs.250/- for One PU; Application Fee - Rs.250/-; Bank Comission - Rs.50/-; Total Payment to be deposited in SBI - 300/- for One PU
ii. Rs.300/- for One PU; Application Fee - Rs.300/-; Bank Comission - Rs.50/-; Total Payment to be deposited in SBI - 350/- for One PUs
iii. Rs.350/- for One PU; Application Fee - Rs.350/-; Bank Comission - Rs.50/-; Total Payment to be deposited in SBI - 400/- for One Pus

Ppayment through online/debit/credit card no extra charges are to be paid. So, students are advised to have recourse to online/debit/credit card mode of payment
