CRAV Course Admission 2015 @ Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), New Delhi

Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), New Delhi invites applications for Certificate of Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (CRAV) for the year 2015.

Certificate of Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (CRAV) is conducted by Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), New Delhi.

This course involves training in clinical practices and Ayurvedic Pharmacy under the guidance of eminent practicing Vaidyas/Scholars in different parts of the country

Duration of course: One year

Stipend: Rs.15,820/- + DA as applicable, per month.

CRAV Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
=> BAMS (Ayurvedacharya) degree from any institution and university included in 2nd schedule of IMCC Act-1970. Internship should have been completed by 20th March, 2015.

=> Maximum 27 years for graduates (not born before 20-3-1988) and 32 years for Post graduates (not born before 01-01-1983)
=> Only those candidates, who wish to undergo training under Guru Shishya Parampara, may apply

=> The course is on full time basis and Shishyas are not allowed to do any private practice, any type of business/job or any other training/course etc

Application Procedure for CRAV:

Candidates are advised to refer to official notifications /documents for detailed application procedure. IndCareer.com published details for informational purpose.

=> The course is not recognized by CCIM. The course has been designed to enhance the knowledge of Ayurvedic graduates/postgraduates to make them
better doctors/scholars.

=> Before applying for admission, it should be kept clearly in mind that Vidyapeeth/Guru owns no responsibility for providing employment or to get
the course recognized by CCIM

=> The local students (permanent address/present address/nativity) of 250 kms or below from the place of guru will not be considered under such gurus. The students need to furnish proof of permanent and present address and nativity under self certification. While giving choice of gurus the students should consider this point.

=> Interested candidates may fill the Application Form and attached Admit Card (Format given separately) and enclose necessary copies of documents along with a Demand Draft for Rs.2000/- (for General & OBC candidates), for SC/ST candidates the fee is Rs.1000/-, in favor of Director, Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, payable at New Delhi. Cheque or Money Order is not accepted. Application Forms, which are incomplete/without documents, will not be accepted.

=> Candidates who have completed internship on or before 20-3-2015 are eligible to appear for Entrance Test.

Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth is located in New Delhi. The Ayurveda college was established on February 11, 1988. It is an autonomous institution, coming under Ayush, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth started regular functioning in 1991, with a major objective of promoting knowledge of Ayurveda in the country. The Vidyapeeth initiated one-year certificate course of RAV, in 1998. The aim of the college is to revive the traditional method of 'Gurukula' system of informal education of India.
