Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala announces MD Ayurveda Admission 2015

 

Commissioner for Entrance Examinations Kerala (CEE Kerala) invites applications for admissions to Post Graduate Degree Courses in Ayurveda for the academic year 2015 - 16.

MD Ayurveda is conducted by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations Kerala (CEE Kerala).

Post Graduate Degree Courses in Ayurveda for the year 2015-16 Admission in Government Ayurveda Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Tripunithura, Kannur, V.P.S.V. Ayurveda College, Kottackal, Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, Ollur and at Parassinikadavu Ayurveda College, Kannur in the following specialties:-

(i) Kayachikitsa (vi) Swasthawritha (xi) Salyathantra
(ii) Salakyathantra (vii) Prasoothithantra & Streeroga (xii) Manasika
(iii) Rasasastra (viii) Ayurveda Sidhantha & Darsana (xiii) Agadathantra
(iv) Bhaishajyakalpana (ix) Panchakarma (xiv) Kriyasareera
(v) Dravyaguna (x) Kaumarabhrithya (xv) Roganidanam

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> Applicant should be an Indian Citizen.

=> Candidate should not be over 45 years of age as on 31.05.2015, subject to relaxation of five years in the case of SC/ST candidates and Service Quota candidates

=> BAM /Ayurvedacharya /BAMS from the colleges having CCIM recognition and BAMS Degree of Universities in Kerala or its equivalent degree
recognized by the Universities of Kerala with 50% of marks for theory and practical separately in each subject.

Application Procedure:

=> Prospectus and Online Application form will be available from 13.08.2015 onwards in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in . The Online Application procedure is common for General and Service candidates. Candidates seeking admission to this course can apply in the online application form provided in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations from 13.08.2015 to 26.08.2015, 3 pm and then remit the required fees at any State Bank of Travancore Branch using the Bank Chalan available with the print out .

=> Candidates residing outside Kerala State can remit the application fee by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Application fee is Rs.1000/- for General/Service candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates. The fee for Entrance Examination once remitted will not be refunded on any account. Application forms will not be sold from the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations or from the Directorate of Ayurveda Medical Education.

Stipend:

A candidate admitted to the course in Govt/Aided Ayurveda Colleges shall be paid stipend of Rs.25,000/-Per month for the first, second, and third year

Candidates are required to submit following:
1. Nativity Certificate in the prescribed format in Orginal
2. Self Attested copy of Certificate to prove Age
3. Self Attested copy of BAMS degree/Pass certificate
4. Self Attested Copy of Internship Certificate
5.Original Community Certificate, Community & Income certificates for SC/ST and SEBC candidates (In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and SEBC Communities)
6. Self attested copy of Physical Disability Certificate for Physically handicapped Candidates

Fee Details:

Application fee: Rs.1000/- for General/Service candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates

Important Dates:

MD Ayurveda Important dates section aims to list all important dates such as date of availability of form, last submission date, result date, counselling date, etc.

  • Registration starts: 13th August, 2015
  • Last Date of Submission of Application Form: 26th August, 2015
  • MD Ayurveda 2015 Admit Card: 11th September, 2015
  • Date of Examination MD Ayurveda 2015: 20th September, 2015

Selection Process:

Selection of candidates except for the seats reserved under Service Quota for Teaching Staff of Government and Government Aided Ayurveda Colleges in
the state.

Question Papers

(i) The question papers will be given in the form of a question booklet. A candidate will be given the question booklet before the actual time prescribed for the commencement of the examination, to enable him/her to acquaint himself/herself with the instructions to be followed.

(ii) There will be a single version for the question paper.

(iii) The question booklet serial number is printed on the top right margin of the facing sheet.

(iv) Candidate must write his/her name and roll number in the space provided in the Question booklet. The Roll Number should be written carefully. The column for the signature of the candidate should also be filled in (The signature should be identical with the signatures in the
admit card and in the attendance sheet).

(v) The question booklet will be sealed at the middle of the right margin. The candidate should not open the question booklet, until an indication is given by the invigilator to start answering at the scheduled time.
