Biotechnology Finishing School (BTFS) Bangalore notifies PG Diploma Admission 2015

Biotechnology Finishing School (BTFS), Bangalore invites applications for admissions to PG Diploma for the academic year 2015 - 16.

PG Diploma is conducted by Biotechnology Finishing School (BTFS), Bangalore.

Duration: One year programmes; 6 months academic coaching and 6 months industry internship

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> Candidates must have a minimum of 50% in Masters degree from Universities of the state or any other University recognized as equivalent in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics or any other life science related courses; B.E/ B.Tech - Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Agriculture, Veterinary, MBBS and BDS are also eligible to apply

=> Candidates who have appeared for the M.Sc /B.E final exams can also apply

=> In certain exceptional cases, (Plant Tissue Culture & Micro propagation domain at MMAS - Sirsi & St. Aloysius College - Mangalore) B.Sc degree holders are eligible

=> Upon selection, a provisional degree certificate should be submitted to the respective colleges within two weeks of course commencement

Fee Details:

i. Fees for the 12 months' program shall not exceed Rs 50,000/- per student

ii. A sum of Rs.10,000 (non-refundable) to be paid directly to the chosen BTFS host institution for confirming the allotted seat before 20th September 2015

iii. Rs 40,000/- to be paid directly also to the BTFS host institution on the first day of course commencement

• Online registration starts: 10th July 2015
• Last Date for Online Registration: 25th July 2015
• Date of Examination PG Diploma 2015: between 03rd to 09th August 2015
• Declaration of PG Diploma 2015 Results: 12th August 2015

Selection Process:

The process consists of two steps.
=> KBAT (Karnataka Biotechnology Aptitude Test)
=> Personal Interview
