B.Ed Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> As per approved regulations of Gauhati University, a candidate possessing at least 45% marks of the aggregate in BA/B.Sc/B.Com.(10+2+3 pattern)or MA/M.Sc/M.Com. Examination of a recognised university is eligible for the B Ed. Programme, provided the applicant has offered at least two school subjects of the first or second degree level. However, there is relaxation of 5% marks for the candidates belonging to ST/SC/OBC/MOBC.

=> A student registered for B.Ed programme of Gauhati University is required to have a minimum 80% attendance of the total lectures delivered in each subject.

=> As per regulations of Gauhati University, the student who fail to attend 65% of classes in aggregate in attendance of all subjects shall be declared as dis-collegiate and shall not be eligible to appear in the final B. Ed examination.

Library Caution deposit : Rs. 1,000/ (Refundable)
