Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI), Bangalore invites applications for admissions to B.Sc Allied Health Science for the academic year 2015 - 16.

B.Sc Allied Health Science is conducted by Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI), Bangalore.

Courses Offered and Intake:

1) B.Sc - Medical Laboratory Technology : 30
2) B.Sc - Operation Theater Technology : 20
3) B.Sc - Imaging Technology : 20
4) B.Sc - Radiotherapy Technology : 20
5) B.Sc - Respiratory Care Technology : 20

Duration:

3 years + 6 Months Compulsory Internship

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
Pass in PUC (PCMB) examination or an equivalent examination recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as principal subject of study.Or
In case Diploma holders, certificate Issued by Para Medical Board of Govt. of Karnataka for respective subjects after clearing the entrance test.
1) Medical Laboratory Technology (for II B.Sc MLT)
2) Operation Theater Technology (for II B.Sc O.T Technology)
3) Medical X-ray Technology (for II B.Sc Imaging Technology)
As on the last date fixed for submitting the application minimum age is 17 years and maximum age of 35 years for GM and 40 years for SC/ST/CAT-1 students.

Application forms can be obtained from the office of the “Director cum Dean, Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore” on Payment of Rs.150/- with respect of SC, ST and Cat-1 applicants and Rs.500/- with respect to other applicants in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Director Cum Dean BMCRI, Bangalore from any nationalized Bank.

Duly filled Application shall be sent along with attested copies of certificates and requisite Demand Draft in person or by registered post along with along attested copies of certificates and requisite Demand Draft in person or by registered post to office of Director cum Dean, Bangalore Medical College & Research Institute, Fort, K.R Road, Bangalore-560002

Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, located on Shri Krishnarajendra Road near the City Market in Bangalore, is run by the government of Karnataka. It is the only government medical college in Bangalore and one of six in Karnataka. (The others are in Mysore, Hubli-Dharwad, and Bellary along with two new government colleges starting from this new academic year Raichur and Mandya.) Admission to the college is extremely competitive through national and state level entrance tests. It has been consistently ranked among the top ten medical colleges in India.
