All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health (AIIH&PH), Kolkata invites applications for admissions to Master in Veterinary Public Health (MVPH) for the academic year 2015 - 16.

MVPH is conducted by All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health (AIIH&PH), Kolkata.

Intake: 15 Seats

Courses Offered:

Master in Veterinary Public Health (MVPH)

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> MBBS/BV.Sc & AH Degree of any University recognized by University of Calcutta.

=> The candidate must possess the Internship completion certificate and permanent Registration number before admission.

=> Preference will be given to those candidates who are deputed by the Central / State Government or other recognized bodies and having at least one year experience in the field of Veterinary Science.

Stipend:

Rs. 800/-(Rupees eight hundred only) per month during the 1st year to the non-sponsored candidates. No stipend is given in the 2nd year.

Selection Process:

Merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained at the Graduation level.

The All India Institute of Hygiene & Public Health (AIIH&PH) was established in Calcutta on 30th December, 1932. This is the only Post-Graduate Institute of its kind in India, devoted to teaching and research in various disciplines in the health and related sciences and is the oldest school of public health in South-East Asia region. The Institute was started with a generous assistance from the Rockfeller Foundation.The administrative control of AIIH&PH, rests with the Director General of Health Services, New Delhi under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
