Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi invites applications for All India Bar Examination (AIBE) for the year 2015.
AIBE 2015 is conducted by Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi.
The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is to examine an advocate's capability to practice the profession of law in India. The AIBE will assess skills at a basic level, and is intended to set a minimum benchmark for admission to the practice of law; it addresses a candidate’s analytical abilities and understanding basic knowledge of law. After passing the examination candidate will be awarded "Certificate of Practice" by the Bar Council of India.
Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
=> The All India Bar Examination intended to test an advocate’s ability to practice the profession of law in India
=> The first All India Bar Examination shall be mandatory for all law students graduating from the academic year 2015-16 onwards.
=> Candidatesmay apply to appear for the All India Bar Examination 2015 only after enrolling as an advocate under Section 24 of the Advocate Act, 1961 and will have to submit suitable proof of the enrollment along with the application form for the All India Bar Examination

=> Candidates can apply All India Bar Examination 2015 by "Online" only. The All India Bar Examination (AIBE VIII) is going to be held on 15th March 2015
=> The Registration Process for AIBE - VIII is open. Candidates who wish to apply for AIBE VIII need to registrar theme self before applying online
How to apply
=> Fill up your Personal, Educational and other Information on this link then click Finish Button
=> Registration Number and Password of your Account is generated and will be sent back to your e-mail ID
Now click ‘Login button on AIBE Site and enter your Registration Number and Password. Then get printout of your Challan Copy
=> Deposit Fee only on the said printed challan at any branch of SBI after 24 hrs. of registration
=> After 24 hrs again Login to your account and take a print of the application form, written down Journal number provided by SBI on it send its hard copy along with requisite documents at BCI
=> Complete the application form and send it to "All India Bar Examination" Bar Council of India, 21 Rouse Avenue Institutional Area, ITO, Near Bal Bhawan New Delhi-110002
=> Important Instructions for candidates
=> Please read the instructions carefully before filling up the Registration Form
=> Details mentioned in this form should be as per your documents and the same will reflect on your COP in case you clear the examination

Exam Fee of Rs. 2500/- plus Rs. 60/- Bank Charges
=> Payments must be made through challan generated after 24 hrs of registration in any Branch of SBI Payment made through any other form (like Demand Draft, online payment, Cheque etc) would not be accepted nor shall any request of its refund be entertained by BCI
=> Fee once paid against any application number is final; any request for refund or to adjust the fee against any another application number will not be entertained (Payment once made is non-refundable in any circumstances)
AIBE Important dates section aims to list all important dates such as date of availability of form, last submission date, result date, counselling date, etc.
*Council reserves the right to extend the said examination date in case of unavoidable circumstances. In that case, any request for refund/adjustment of fee shall not be entertained.
